Hey, I’m Abby!
The hands and heart behind Yarnful Mind. I’m a stay-at-home mom, wife, and longtime lover of yarn. I turn to crochet not just for creativity but for calm. What started as a way to quiet my depressingly anxious mind has grown into something much bigger: a gentle space where I share patterns, mindful moments, and the slow magic of making.
Here, you’ll find pieces made with care, patterns stitched in peace, and encouragement for anyone who needs a soft place to land. I include mindfulness exercises with my patterns to help you find stillness in yarn. Crochet is a kind of meditation, and when we lean into that, we can grow a little more. We take the calm we find and carry it with us into the rest of life.
Whether you're here to learn something new or just breathe a little deeper, I’m so glad you found your way.
There’s so much I’ve learned from My Journey with Crochet and Mental Health, and so much I’m still learning.
Stitch slow, breathe deep, stay mindful.
